Rookie shoots suspect reaching for shotgun
This bodycam footage comes courtesy of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dated 31 January 2026, the video shows Colorado Springs officers struggling with a suspect who ignored their commands and got into a police cruiser. As one officer attempted to dislodge her from the vehicle, the suspect began grabbing for the shotgun stored in the cruiser, prompting the other officer to shoot her twice. It's important to note that despite having been with the department a mere 13 months, that second officer acted quickly, decisively and accurately. Although the suspect survived, viewer discretion is advised. The suspect, identified as Micaela Pasillas, 30 years of age, was involved in a domestic dispute and initial reports indicated she had a firearm. This was not the case, although she was in possession of a large knife when CSPD arrived. She dropped the knife but did not obey any other commands, instead running to the cruiser and reaching for the shotgun. Office James McKinstry shot her through the passenger side window despite the close proximity of his partner, exhibiting consummate skill and judgment despite having just over a year with the agency. Despite her injuries, Pasillas survived and was taken to an area hospital in serious, but not critical condition. She was released following treatment to the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center, where charges are pending.
3 views / TodayMasked colorado suspect loses gunfight
This bodycam footage comes courtesy of the Police Department in Colorado Springs. Dated 02 February 2026, it shows officers attempting to interdict a suspicious person. However, the contact turned into a chase, during which the suspect turned at shot one officer. The suspect was shot and went down, but tried to take another's officer's weapon as they attempted to effect his arrest. This resulted in the suspect being shot again, and transported to an area hospital with critical injuries. The wounded officer was treated for his non-life-threatening gunshot and released. Viewer discretion is advised. The suspect, identified as one Michael Foster, 35 years of age, had been acting suspiciously, wearing a hood and mask in warm weather and fleeing to a house known by law enforcement due to crimes committed there. The handgun he drew on the officers was confirmed to be a stolen Springfield Hellcat chambered in 9-millimeter. Foster was found to have several felony warrants, to which attempted murder of a peace officer, first-degree assault on a peace officer, 2 counts of resisting arrest, and possession of a weapon by a previous offender have been added.
3 views / TodayBaltimore 14 year olds go on crime spree
This short clip shows Baltimore PD officer Cole (no relation) responding to a report that armed persons were attempting to break into a home. When the officer arrived, the group attempted to flee in a Kia, but the driver struck a parked vehicle. When the officer approached them on foot, the Kia driver put the car in reverse again and backed into the officer. As he lay on the ground, he fired at the fleeing vehicle with which they had just hit him. However, a victim who had been assaulted by the same group arrived. The officer wisely chose to give him aid and comfort rather than leave him and pursue. Ofc. Cole is a 5-year veteran and the wisdom of his experience shows in how he took care of the victim. The Kia, confirmed stolen, was found abandoned a short time later, having hit yet another vehicle. Further investigation found that the two robbers (male) and the driver (female) were all fourteen years old. Furthermore, the driver had been taken by her mother to a hospital that night to be treated for what appears to have been a gunshot graze. Officer Cole was treated at an area hospital for an injured ankle.
4 views / TodayDuluth car chase turns into gunfight
This compilation of dashcam and bodycam footage comes from the St. Louis County, Minnesota Sherriff's Office. On 10 February 2026, deputies attempted to interdict an erratic driver, who fled upon contact. After a PIT maneuver ended the pursuit, putting the car sidelong in the middle of the road, the suspect opened fire from inside. This prompted the deputies to return fire, striking him. The suspect was pronounced dead on-scene, with no deputies or bystanders harmed. Viewer discretion is advised. A handgun and spent brass were recovered from the car of the suspect, who was identified as one Donald Felver III, 30 years of age.
4 views / TodayFake 911 call leads to stabbing ambush
This 12 December 2025 footage from Bellevue, Washington, shows police officers making contact with a complainant who made a 911 call regarding a domestic disturbance. However, the call was a ruse, and this becomes apparent when the suspect abruptly attacks the officers with a knife. One officer is seriously injured by the attacker, who is shot by his partner. Surprisingly, despite grievous wounds, all involved parties survived the incident, having received prompt and effective care at an area hospital. Despite this, due to the graphic nature of this content, viewer discretion is advised. Legal proceedings against the suspect, one Mohamed Bangura, 38 years of age, are still ongoing, and allege that the domestic incident which prompted the officers to arrive was a fabrication, and that this was a deliberate ambush of law enforcement personnel. One of the officers was slashed in the face and stabbed in the back by Bangura. Somewhat incredibly, Bangura has pled "not guilty" to the assault charges which two different cameras recorded him committing, as shown here.
6 views / TodayEx-Boyfriend turned stalker kicks off Split-Second gunfight
This short compilation of bodycam and dashcam footage from Seattle Washington on 12 February 2026 shows local police attempting to interdict a suspected stalker, who, according to the complainant, could be armed. Her fears were confirmed when officers attempted to make contact and the suspect drew his handgun. A quick but harrowing gunfight ensued and ended with the suspect down and one officer injured. Viewer discretion is advised. The complainant, an eighteen year old woman whose identity is withheld, stated that Christopher Bowman was following her and implied that she had several cases open against Bowman and his behavior. After the gunfight, Bowman was given immediate aid and taken to an area hospital and remains in critical condition. His handgun was recovered from the scene, and the minorly injured officer was treated and released from care.
4 views / TodayWelfare check goes tragically awry
This bodycam footage comes from Reno, Nevada. Local police received several calls expressing concern for a man who seemed likely to jump off a bridge. Although the officers tried to the best of their ability to redirect and de-escalate the suspect, he eventually rushed one of the officers and tried to flail them with a chain, resulting in his being shot. Furthermore, an officer was hit with friendly fire. Although medical aid was provided to both, the suspect was declared dead on-scene. Viewer discretion is advised. The suspect, identified as Michael Johnson, 27 years of age, was known to law enforcement due to previous contact. Recalling that Johnson had a knife at one point in the past, the officers assumed he still had it, which is the point at which negotiations stalled out. Unable to be certain if he had his hands on a knife in his pocket, the police announced they were going to go hands on and circled him, in order to prevent him from drawing it. This threat somewhat unsurprisingly caused Johnson to escalate, swinging a heavy tow chain at one of the officers. Note: there are six officers present, and apparently none of them thought that neuromuscular incapacitation- that is, a TASER- might be a good option for keeping a suspect from pulling a knife. Can't draw if you can't move. Instead, presumably feeling emboldened by numbers, they ignored the tools at their disposal and gave him time to produce a weapon. When he flailed it overhead, multiple officers fired, striking him and one of their own. Considering the whole encounter began to prevent a possible suicide, the incident seems like a waste that could have been handled better.
3 views / TodayKnife wielding suspect gets shot as victims flee
This footage from O'Fallon, Illinois shows police responding to what was initially reported as a domestic disturbance. Upon hearing that a knife is involved, they instead treated is as an assault in progress. This proved prescient, as when the police arrived, the victims- the suspect's wife and stepdaughter- were fleeing as the suspect followed them with the knife, both having been stabbed. The suspect, later identified as Matthew Blanke, 53 years of age, refused to comply with commands or drop the knife, and was shot as he continued to advance. Despite aid rendered, he was pronounced dead on-scene. The victims were treated at an area hospital for non-threatening stab wounds. Viewer discretion is advised.
4 views / TodayBaltimore cops shoot armed suspect
This compilation of bodycam footage comes from Baltimore, Maryland, and shows police officers attempting to interdict a suspect matching the description of someone who had reportedly threatened someone with a gun. The suspect fled upon contact, and after a short chase, he produced a handgun as they tried to restrain him. He fired his handgun, prompting the Baltimore officers to return fire. Despite medical aid rendered, he was pronounced dead on-scene. No officers or bystanders were injured. Viewer discretion is advised.
3 views / TodayArmed suspect harboring missing female minor gets shot
This footage comes from Knoxville, Tennessee, and shows Special Operations Squad (SOS) police recovering a missing child and serving an arrest warrant on the man suspected of hiding her. When the point man moves forward to effect his arrest, the suspect produces a handgun, at which point he is shot in extreme close proximity to the arresting officer and the minor. While the bodycam footage is censored, due to the sensitive nature of the material, viewer discretion is advised. Following up on intel gathered by detectives the Special Crimes division, SOS (Why "SOS" and not "SWAT" or "ERT", I don't know) served warrants for the arrest of one Angel Menendez, 46 years of age, for harboring a minor (15 years of age), contributing to her delinquency, and for the theft of a firearm. In what is probably an attempt to contain Menendez before he can reach the gun, the point man moves quickly in an attempt to get control. However, this is an extremely risky move. Two other SOS officers in the stack had coverage and fired on Menendez when he reached the handgun. Seconds after this occurred, the minor tried to attack another officer with a knife, but only managed to hit his helmet. Despite aid rendered, Menendez was declared dead on-scene. The minor was charged for this assault and taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
4 views / TodayDallas suspect picks gunfight next to grandma
This compilation of bodycam footage from Dallas, Texas covers an incident on 02 February 2026, in which a 911 call reported that a suspect was armed with a handgun and making threats to his family. When police arrived at the scene, they found that the suspect was in the bathroom with his grandmother, who had taken him there to privately talk in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. Upon opening their opening the door, the suspect aimed the weapon in their direction, which incurred an exchange of gunfire. An officer was hit with a single round, and both the suspect and his grandmother sustained injuries. While heavily censored, due to the nature of the content, viewer discretion is advised. The suspect, identified as Tony Robinson, 18 years of age had threatened to principally kill his father, with others in the house as secondary targets. He fired one round in the exchange, catching the officer in the vest. Although Robinson was shot, he was given treatment on-scene and transported to an area hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. Similarly, his grandmother was transported, treated and released. The precise nature of her injuries was not disclosed, though their being sustained during the gunfire would suggest she was at least grazed.
4 views / TodayFlorida SRT smokes armed occupant during child exploitation raid
This helmet cam footage comes from Miami-Dade County, Florida, where the Special Response Team was serving a warrant on 02 December, 2025. This warrant was for Child Exploitation. After breaching the door and removing several persons, including children, from the home, the officers encountered the named suspect's brother- Christopher Barata- with a handgun at low ready. Two SRT officers in the team shot the armed man, downing him. At this point, the named suspect, Christian Barata, surrendered to the authorities. Viewer discretion is advised. Despite aid rendered, Christopher Barata was pronounced dead on-scene. His brother, Christian, was booked for Sexual Performance by a Child, Possession of Images, Sexual Performance by a Child, Promote or Attempt. While we do not know the degree to which Christopher was complicit to Christian's activities, we do know he died defending him, and his ghost is one of the many things that will haunt Christian in prison.
4 views / TodayFrom traffic stop to flames, drugs and firearms
This compilation of dashcam and bodycam footage comes from Denmark, Ohio, where police attempted to stop a motorcyclist on a red motorcycle. The biker fails to comply with the stop and leads police on a chase, whilst throwing away small bags and bundles which suggest narcotics. After a 22 minute chase, the suspect wrecks his motorcycle, which immolates, before fleeing into the woods. There, the police attempt to physically restrain the suspect, deploying a TASER, which fails. When the suspect reaches for a handgun, the officers open fire. Viewer discretion is advised. The suspect, later identified as one Jerry Pegram, 54 years of age, was pronounced dead on-scene despite aid rendered. The handgun on his person was found to be legitimate and operational, and has been seized as evidence.
3 views / TodayNYPD self harm intervention falls apart
This footage comes from an NYPD incident in Brooklyn, wherein a hospital patient was reportedly cutting himself with what would be revealed to be a sharp, broken piece of a toilet seat. When the patient, later identified as Michael Lynch, 62 years of age, advanced on them with the improvised weapon, one officer fired his pistol while the other deployed a TASER. Neither were effective and Lynch closed them out. After four minutes of attempting to establish dialogue with Lynch, a second TASER deployment failed, forcing the officers to shoot him as he advanced. NYPD officers utilized TASERs three more times to get Lynch to drop the plastic shard. Lynch was declared deceased shortly after, despite being treated by hospital staff on-scene. Viewer discretion is advised.
5 views / TodayCalifornia Cop goes from grapple to gunfight
This quick, chaotic clip of bodycam footage comes from Bakersfield, California, where on 29 December 2025, an officer went hands-on with suspect Fabian Lopez, who fled on foot from a traffic stop. During the struggle, Lopez drew a handgun. At this point, an officer involved shooting (OIS) occurred, and Lopez proved tenacious, repeatedly trying to rise and point his weapon as the officer fired. Somewhat surprisingly, Lopez was not killed outright and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Should he survive, he will be charged with attempted murder of a police officer, among other weapon-related offenses. Viewer discretion is advised.
3 views / TodayIn shocking twist, fake gun gets suspect shot
This bodycam footage from California shows an encounter between police officers and a transient person who refused to leave an area business. During the interaction, the suspect draws what appears in every way to be a Glock 17 handgun, at which point the officers open fire. After the fact, the handgun was revealed to be an air-powered pellet gun loaded with a legitimate Glock magazine. The suspect survived his injuries, but viewer discretion remains advised. Bewilderingly, the suspect's fake gun had a real Glock magazine, loaded with actual 9-millimeter rounds, seated. While the brand of pistol here was not disclosed, airsoft pistols such as those made by Umarex are so realistically replicated that they can seat real magazines, although they are unable to fire.
5 views / TodayFront bumper ends san jose gunfight
This bystander footage captures the dramatic, kinetic culmination of a gunfight between San Jose police and armed crime spree suspect Mohamed Husien. The frenetic, close-range exchange of gunfire is brought to an end when an officer strikes the suspect with a patrol vehicle. Viewer discretion is advised. Husien, 30 years of age, had been on a four-day, multiple-county crime spree. Husien had committed several carjackings and armed robberies leading up to this point. Despite several attempts to interdict Husien, he escaped pursuit amid exchanges of gunfire. Six law enforcement agencies collaborated in their attempts to bring Husien in. In the last clash between the suspect and San Jose police, an officer spotted an opportunity to end the ongoing violence, which was putting officers and bystanders at continued risk. Once a clear and immediate need for deadly force is established, the means by which said force is delivered are immaterial- deadly force is deadly force, whether delivered by bullet or speeding Ford Explorer. As Husien lay there, other officers shot him until he stopped moving. Unsurprisingly, he was pronounced dead on-scene.
3 views / Today3 Angles of deadly ICE shooting in Minneapolis
Multiple witness videos are coming out showing the January 24, 2026 shooting death of a protester by immigration enforcement agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota. What we know is based on video footage and press releases of information, so we will try to stick to that without making assumptions. As of now, we understand a 37-year-old Minneapolis man, identified as Alex Jeffrey Pretti, an intensive care nurse by trade, was shot and killed by federal agents during a confrontation that resulted into a physical struggle just before the shooting occurred. Before the shooting, Pretti can be seen video recording agents and attempting to direct traffic. The officers push Pretti and at least two others out of the lane of traffic. One of the officers pepper sprayed Petti, at which point, the wrestling match ensued. Reports indicate that Pretti was legally armed at the time the confrontation began, although it is unclear if he was armed at the time of the shooting or if he made any threatening gestures with the weapon or fired it. Unverified internet analyses are claiming that one of the officers can be seen disarming and walking away with Pretti's pistol just prior to the shooting, which does look convincing, yet, we cannot confirm that's actually what happened based on the footage provided.
