Armed meth user tries to attack his parents

This footage comes from Vancouver Washington, and is dated 30 July, 2025. Here, we see Vancouver officers and Clark County deputies responding to a 911 call which stated that the caller's son was armed, under the influence of alcohol and methamphetamine, and was trying to enter their home. Despite repeated warnings from the police, the suspect refused to drop the weapon and was shot. Viewer discretion is advised. The suspect, later identified as Brandon Whitcomb, 36 years of age, had broken the front door of his parents' home and attempted to make entry with a pistol. When police began to arrive, he fled the scene on a bicycle. A short time later, a Clark County deputy observed him with the gun, at which point the officer involved shooting occurred. Despite multiple warnings to drop the weapon and get on the ground, Whitcomb refused. Whitcomb continued to present a threat to the officers, and was shot four times by a Clark County deputy. Deputy Gonzalez is currently on critical incident leave, and Whitcomb was pronounced dead on-scene.
