B-52 Stratofortress begins bombing Iran
Static airfield footage recorded at an undisclosed location and released to the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service shows United States B-52 Stratofortress airframes taking off to support aerial combat operations inside of Iran as part of U.S. Central Command's Operation Epic Fury. The B-52 Stratofortress is not a stealth bomber, and generally does not enter enemy airspace until complete air dominance has been achieved by the United States. The movement and use of these specific airframes in Iranian airspace likely indicates that we have full control of the skies above Iran.
