Estonia has just signed a €300 million deal to purchase the South Korean K239 Chunmoo long-range multiple-launch rocket system. The package includes six launchers with multiple rocket variants, including the CTM-MR missile, a 280mm missile with a 50 to 99 kilometer range, making Estonia the first foreign country to adopt this missile variant. The Chunmoo is also being acquired by Estonia’s Baltic neighbors, Latvia and Lithuania, and by Norway, a reflection of regional anxiety over Russian aggression.
