Fiber drones target Ukrainian vehicles
Fiber-optic drone footage released by Russian sources shows a series of attacks against Ukrainian equipment. In the future, I foresee the attacks decreasing quite a bit in the Russo-Ukraine war, as the cost of fiber-optic cabling has increased exponentially over the last year due to the demand for fiber-optic cable in the rest of the tech industry. This is likely an opportunity for anyone who wants to go out into the fields of fiber to collect the already used fiber-optic cables. If sections of the cable can be salvaged, there's likely a use of that elsewhere in non war-related industries.
