Florida cop handcuffs modern dinosaur
From St. Johns County, Florida, this bodycam footage shows a Deputy tasked with wrangling an escaped... emu. Clever girl. Okay- I have no idea how to gender an emu but you and I both know I had to say it. According to an official statement by St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, the emu kicked with its large talons before fleeing, forcing the deputy to use a field-expedient lasso. He then used his handcuffs to restrain the murderous claws of a modern-day dinosaur, sealing his fate as an absolute menace to games of "Never Have I Ever." Rookies fresh from the Academy will, no doubt, stare in slack-jawed wonder. "There he goes. Heard dude cuffed an emu once."
