Liberation Front of Azawad lights up Russian mercenaries
This footage shows Toyota Hilux technicals being used to fire on a combined force of Malian military and Afrika Corps personnel- the latter being a less-than-flattering name of a Russian PMC. France's military interventions in Mali- beginning in 2013 with Operation Serval and ending with Operation Barkhane in 2022, concluded with the French military pulling out of Mali. Russian private military groups such as Wagner and Afrika Corps stepped in to fill the vacuum, and results have been... mixed, to say the least.
