Royal Thai Army use jeep-mounted recoilless rifle
This short clip shows a crew of gunners in the Royal Thai Army utilizing a M40 recoilless rifle to attack a Cambodian position. This footage was released on 10 December 2025, amid the ongoing border clashes between the two nations. The M40 is shown mounted on a Jeep chassis, allowing the crew to relocate between shots as necessary. Note that because the weapon is mounted on a military vehicle, it does not meet the definition of "technical" as typified in other conflicts. The whole firing procedure for the M40 is showcased here, including the use of a range-finding rifle round before discharging the main gun. The gunners appear to be having a good time with this mission, if the thumbs-up is to be believed. As was showcased in the last fracas between Cambodia and Thailand, Thailand continues to evidently have the military upper hand.
