Russian fashion victims get droned
This Ukrainian footage shows Russian soldiers clad in what are described as "anti-drone" cloaks or coats. To scant surprise, these fashion choices don't exactly work as intended. Dated June 2025, the compiled footage comes from the UAV Battalion (sobriquet: Nebesna Kara) of the 54th Mechanized Brigade. As bodies are shown, viewer discretion is advised.These strikes were reported to have occurred in the area of Siversk. While there's a possibility that the cloaks may have obscured the soldiers were they prone in the correct flora, being caught standing up negates the usefulness the supposed "anti-drone" camouflage may have imparted. Being daylight strikes, we aren't afforded any insights into how these cloaks and coats may have suppressed heat signatures.
