Spotter Records Shot on Exposed Infantry

Footage recorded in the summer of 2023 shows a Ukrainian spotter watching the target as a shooter takes a long range shot. The "target" in this instance is an exposed Russian infantryman that is standing in the open, which leads to the Russian being killed. Footage like this has become increasingly rare with the introduction of FPV drones to the battlefield. Both reconnaissance and sniper harassment operations have been minimized through the heavy use of drone technology by both sides over the past three years, leading to less and less need for these individuals to be putting themselves at risk in the field.
