Reconnaissance drone footage released by Ukrainian sources captures the moment a Ukrainian soldier ambushes two Russians. Prior to the ambush, the two Russians were convinced by the Ukrainian that he was one of them. This is likely because there are a lot of Russian citizens that speak with a Ukrainian accent, and it also proves that Russian troops aren't using any sort of challenge and pass system. Friend and foe identification is a big deal, and not having a system in place for it allows for things like this to happen to your troops.
