Aftermath of Sumy missile attack
The aftermath of a Russian missile attack against the Ukrainian City of Sumy. The missile stuck the city center near the state university, killing at least thirty-four people and injuring 117 in one of the deadliest attacks on civilians witnessed during this war. Leaders of nations allied with Ukraine swiftly condemned the action, with U.S. secretary of state Marco Rubio referring to the event as horrifying and future German Chancellor Friedreich Merz accusing Russian of war crimes.
