Infantry assault stopped cold by mortars and drones
Ukrainian forces conducting defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia region released footage showing a small Russian assault unit attempting to breach Ukrainian lines. Just before reaching a tree line offering effective overhead cover, the Russian unit was detected by a reconnaissance drone. This led to precise mortar fire targeting their patrol. Subsequently, drones equipped with droppable munitions were deployed to their position, forcing the Russian unit to retreat.
