Israeli "double tap" kills rescuers and journalists
In what is being referred to as a "double tap" strike, an Israeli precision munition killed at least 20 people, which included first responders and journalists. Israel struck the Nasser Hospital in the Khan Yunis neighborhood of Gaza on Aug. 25, 2025. About ten minutes later, as the damaged building was being searched by medical rescue crews and journalists, another munition struck, killing at least 20.
