Russian sniped at 800m
Footage from the Black Swan Battalion of the Ukrainian 225th Separate Assault Regiment released footage showing a reported deadly sniper shot on a moving Russian soldier at a claimed distance of 800 meters.Although scope parallax and crosshair reticles are overlayed on the video, understand that is done for video production value. The footage is being recorded by an observation drone, not through the rifleman's optic.There is no way we can confirm the actual distance the shooter was from the target based on the footage, but we can confirm that it was indeed accurate and effective. The incident reportedly occurred in the vicinity of Dobropillia, along the Pokrovsk front.
