According to the source of the low-quality footage, the bird hunters volunteered their time and ammunition to assist in bringing down a series of weaponized commercial drones. At the end of the video, the drone is still flying unobstructed.

Video released by Pakistani military service members, with complete disregard for operational security, shows the exact location of an air defense system as it engages an Indian loitering munition. I suspect that this will likely be a trend in future India/Pakistan combat footage for a while, as neither military has a habit of enforcing operational security controls within their ranks. Should the conflict continue to escalate, this lack of OpSec will probably taper off over time as the troops start to realize that Facebook clout isn't worth dying over.

Civilian cell phone footage recorded in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, shows one of the multiple air strikes that were carried out last night by the Indian Air Force in what India is calling Operation Sindoor. According to India, these strikes were in direct retaliation for the April 22 terror attacks in Kashmir and Jammu which saw 26 civilian tourists killed. The purpose of the multi-branch military operation was to strike out against nine terrorist-linked locations across both Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in order to destroy key logistical, operational, and training hubs. The targets included some of the most significant and known terror training spots in the region linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, the primary group responsible for the April 22 terror attacks. For the most part, the global reaction to this incursion into Pakistan by the Indian military has been minimal.

This footage, provided by militants within Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM), shows a large group of motorcyle-mounted fighters attacking an Army encampment in Burkina Faso. Like dragoons of old, they approach the position and then dismount to attack. Apart from the motorcycles, old meets new- as it so often does in modern conflict- in the drones which JNIM is using for recon as they approach. This sort of rapid, motorized, ersatz blitzkrieg has been tried before in Ukraine, often with poor results to the riders. With FPV drones and artillery, the Ukrainian army has the means to properly prosecute a large formation of lightly armored troops, even if they're fast moving. Unfortunately, Burkina Faso is not possessed of the same resources, and despite the Burkinabe government claiming significant progress in fighting JNIM, the Islamic militants still have the freedom to maneuver like this.

Footage recorded aboard a French Navy Aquitaine class frigate captures the moment a Houthi attack drone gets close enough to warrant the use of the ship's 76mm OTO Melara Super Rapid gun. Fortunately, the drone was brought down at standoff range, allowing for the device to be dropped harmlessly into the ocean in front of the vessel. I'm sure that the encounter was still much closer than the French sailors would appreciate, however. According to some preliminary reports and rumors online, the choice to let the drone get in close enough for the 76mm gun was made for budgetary reasons. The French Navy did not want to expend a more expensive Aster 15 missile on an inexpensive attack drone coming out of Yemen.
