Japanese line charge in action

The Japan Self-Defense Forces fire a Type-92 Mine Clearing Line Charge (MCLC) on a range, probably at the Combined Arms Training Center near Mount Fuji. The Type-92 includes a launcher fixed to an armored self-propelled artillery chassis. The rocket launches from the tube trailing a mesh tube containing twenty-six bomblets, and once extended across a mined area, the bomblets explode, creating a path through the minefield.
