Lakurawa Terror Group causes chaos in the Sahel

Footage from January showing the latest ISIS affiliate, Lakurawa, which is wreaking havoc in West Africa, largely in Niger and Mali. Last year, Lakurawa was just another small jihadist group in Niger pledging loyalty to ISIS and doing rather terrible things but on a smaller scale. After the military coup in Niger, many tribes which had previously been unaffiliated decided to join Lakurawa’s ranks, giving the group substantial momentum. The army in Niger was able to launch a successful operation against the group around the time of this video, presumably killing its leader, but the organization has rebounded and continues to spread chaos.
