Sudanese Soldier Having The Best Day Ever
This footage comes from a member of the Sudanese military, as he records the defense of El-Fasher. RSF forces are besieging the city, and officials from the United Nations have stated that if it falls, the RSF and Janjaweed militants will, in all likelihood, actively pursue acts of genocide. However, you wouldn't know the stakes are that dire by looking at our intrepid cameraman. He's grinning ear-to-ear as he takes selfies with a pair of Toyota technicals. They're armed with machine guns and an MLRS, respectively. The 'Thon Is On and our guy is loving it. As a Sergeant of mine once said, "if you can't get out of it, get into it!"
