Terrorists torch fuel convoy in Mali
Members of the Islamist militant group JNIM attack and destroy a convoy of fuel trucks sixty-eight kilometers outside of the Malian capital of Bamako. The Al Qaeda affiliate has launched persistent attacks on Mali’s highways in an attempt to starve the government of fuel. The military has resorted to running protected convoys, but as this video illustrates, these are not always successful. In this particular attack, several military trucks were destroyed and soldiers killed. It is worth noting the militant who ran past the truck spewing fuel and through a puddle gas as the shooting continues and other vehicles burn nearby.
