Sudanese jet bombs rebel positions

A fighter bomber of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) strikes rebel RSF positions at the airport in the town of Nyala. The SAF is predominantly comprised of members of Sadan’s former air force, while the RSF generally served as Sudan’s infantry arm prior to the current civil war. The two sides were unable to enact a power sharing arrangement which would have absorbed the RSF fully into the Sudanese military, thus spawning the current conflict. The SAF has a small array of Soviet-produced aircraft, including eleven MiG-29s like the one shown in the footage. The RSF has resorted to drones for air power, and has purportedly been supplied with Chinese air defense systems by the UAE.
